Boasting top tour players like Ryan Palmer, Graeme McDowell, Stuart Appleby, and Ernie Els, Odyssey Golf has set itself apart as the leader in golf putters. With multiple award-winning lines, Odyssey engineers putters with exclusive technology to put tour-quality gear in the hands of casual golfers of all skill levels. The Odyssey White Hot 2.0 XG RS Putter, updated in 2010, is a part of the highly acclaimed White Hot putter series.

Billed as “an updated version of a modern classic,” the RS Putter is a face-balanced mallet-style putter built with high-performance golf ball technology. With Odyssey’s exclusive soft, multilayer core, the putter excels at control and provides a preferred level of feedback. Its thin hitting surface and proportional weighting delivers excellent consistency and feel. Pro golfer Ryan Palmer says, “I have tried other putters in the past, but this Odyssey Rossie always gets back in the lineup.”

Odyssey White Hot 2.0 XG RS Putter is a mallet putter with a double-bend shaft. Like all of the putters in the White Hot line, the RS Putter benefits from a soft core made of elastomer material and a double-layer insert, both which provide unmatched performance. Its sweetspot is covered with a thin layer of urethane-infused material for responsiveness. The putter gets a high moment of inertia from its weight at the perimeter of the head.

The RS Putter’s specification includes a loft of three degrees and a lie angle of 70 degrees. The putter has a full offset and a head weight of 335 grams. Available in 34” and 35” lengths, the putter comes with Odyssey’s two-year warranty.

Recommended by golf instructors, the Odyssey White Hot 2.0 XG RS Putter has received high reviews among players on and off the tour. For many players, the putter has an ideal weight and balanced feel, making it easier and smoother to swing. The putter’s built in guides have helped players line up shots better. With a low-glare finish and highlighted sweetspot, this putter is easy to use and control.

Casual players felt that the RS Putter gave them something close to the customized quality that professional players use, but at a price that makes the club accessible. This mallet-style putter has even converted players who prefer blade styles.
